Dread Pitt and Yung Fusion team up once again for their new single “Rush”. Featuring a different style from Dread Pitt and catchy vocals from Yung Fusion, the two provide a new single with unique vibes, deep bass, and solid rapping. The introduction starts out with natural earthy sounds and instruments that blend perfectly with the vibrant percussion and bass that lead the song. Quickly after the melodic introduction, Yung Fusion takes over with his talented vocal skills. The lyrics from Fusion pair greatly with the heavy bass and ethnic beat of the song. After the primary verses, the song calmly leads into a somewhat heavy yet elegant drop with continued vocals from Yung Fusion. The strong percussion combined with the occasional brass stab matches extremely well with the instrumental loop within the drop. Combining multiple instruments, world percussion, and some hard bass, the song provides a vibrant feel and contains many unique sounds and melodies. It is also very interesting to see Dread Pitt beginning on a journey away from heavy edm and bass trap as he discovers new sounds and begins to work with more world elements in his music. As Dread Pitt stated, “I became a little tired of the heavy buildups, drops and electronic feel. So I searched through my library and catalogue for songs I still loved, and I noticed that these songs made strong use of world music elements. I explored this, became super inspired by world music, and started building around that.” Also stating that more than 15 songs are ready featuring the new Dread Pitt style. “Rush” combines many elegant world music elements to mark the beginning of new unique releases from Dread Pitt. Dread Pitt has previously worked with many vocalists and popular producers including ReauBeau and Wizard. In 2017, Dread Pitt and Yung Fusion teamed up for their single “The Mission” which has already gained over 2.5 million streams on Spotify and recognition from major youtube channels. “Rush” marks another amazing collaboration between the two talented artists.
